Frequently asked

Which permissions does the app need, and why?

A limit is blocking me. How do I get past it?

That is the point — the block is meant to hold. A block lasts until midnight and your limit resets the next day. Pro members can open a block for the day; without Pro you can open it with a small one-time payment. If you set an unbreakable block, it cannot be lifted at all and clears on its own when the day ends.

How do I change or remove a limit?

Open the app, go to the app or rule you set, and adjust it there. Setting a rule is free; loosening or removing one is deliberately a little harder, so a promise you make is not too easy to break later.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Pro is billed through Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel. Manage or cancel it any time in Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → Dopamine Tracker. Cancelling keeps Pro active until the end of the period you already paid for. For refunds, use Google Play's refund process, or email us and we will help.

How is my data handled?

Your detailed per-app usage, limits and focus sessions stay on your phone and are never sent to our servers. If you sign in, only your account details, onboarding answers and subscription status are stored. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and removes everything tied to your account. On-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.
